Sarah Vaux is a great friend of my husband and myself and has been for almost twenty years. In 1994, while trying to organize the Cornish wedding of our dreams from Australia, we realized we needed some help and Sarah stepped in. As our long distance organizer, the task for many of the major and minor details fell to her.

We visualized a small and intimate Cornish wedding, with friends and family all playing a major role. Because of the great distance, we were determined to have as much time as possible with them all. As we were coming to England only four weeks prior to the wedding, it also meant that Sarah had a large amount of work to do before we arrived!

With a limited budget and a lot of inventive imagination our dream came together; the stunning church, marquee on the lawn of our chosen venue (local youth hostel!), friends, and family all accommodated together, flowers arranged by a local lady, catering and music by friends.

Sarah's organisation was superb and her ideas and imagination were a great help. Her knowledge of the local area and amazing charm meant everything we hoped for came our way easily.

Ten years later, we, our family and friends all look back on that time with great memories. It was more than just one day for all of us, as the planning and preparation holds as many great memories for us as the day itself.

The whole event was simple, intimate and great fun and undoubtedly made much easier by Sarah's reliable support. We could not have planned it better.
